horse description • louie is the son of impressionistic, out of an arab mare. he was a mistake, when pres got out and decided to go for the first mare he found. however, their child turned out to be a promising prospect. tobi rides him in the baby greens, seeing as he's about five. he's 15.3, dapple grey, and the spitting image of his father. he loves to jump and has a hyper, quirky personality. he loves to be ridden but will frequently have temper tantrums. he has a heart-shaped brand on his shoulder and the number thirteen in roman numerals on his haunches. he has a strong dressage background, but seems to be working better with jumping.

horse description • buddy's a big dark bay gelding, almost 17.3 hands high and definitely packs a punch when it comes to his jumping. he's very goal-oriented and seems only to have his head in the game. he's ambitious and makes up for tobi's anxieties regarding riding. he's very forgiving and pretty much packs her around even though he's almost guaranteed to place in the ribbons. he seems indifferent when it comes to most people, but he's very affectionate with his mommy. he's about twelve.

overall personality • october is a sweet girl. on the outside, she is very studious and well behaved. she is always on time, never seems to have any flaws, and refuses to get past "making face" with people. underneath, she's insecure. she's crawling with self-hatred although she's learned to mask it well. she's shy, lonely, sometimes irritable and constantly changing. she prefers to stay on her own, and she's talked to the heads of the facility about more "privacy." however, she isn't allowed to get away with it usually, and tends to get angry at her peers for actions the heads have made. she's naive at times, and also doesn't do well in large groups. she is very competitive, on the other hand. she knows she's good, but she still judges herself.

regular history • she was born on halloween in a houston hospital to her parents adriana perez and jonathan cross. october's life wasn't the easiest. her childhood was filled with plenty of sadness when her parents passed away a few months after her second birthday. her grandparents took her in, since there wasn't anyone else to come to her rescue. they lived in a large house in southern california, where she'd spend the next fourteen years. she grew up very privileged, but always preferred the company of horses and her pets to the company of other people. school wasn't really an issue, she just never hung around enough to make friends. she played volleyball for the longest time as well until she was shipped off to florida. her grandfather passed away right before she was shipped off, and lorena thought it would be a good idea to get her out of the house and into the saddle again.
riding history • october has been in the saddle since she was three, per request of a psychologist they hired to get through to her brain. she took to riding very well, learning shortly that she preferred the horses over anything else. she grew up doing short stirrups and has owned close to seven horses throughout her riding career. she traversed across the nation with her horses, specifically buddy. he was definitely the horse that brought in the championships. after her grandfather died, lorena purchased louie to keep her company and be a project horse (since she fell in love with him). getting louie piqued takuya's interest in this dynamic little rider, when he invited her to come train. she graciously accepted under the pretenses that she took her lessons private with him or one of her associates and that her boys get treated like kings. he was willing to oblige, seeing as he got close to the only horse that bore any resemblence to his long-dead stallion.
